    Director of Distilling of Glenmorangie
    Dr Lumsden is in charge of the  single malt whisky of Glenmorangie, which originated in the Scotland Highlands. He was also in charge of the Ardbeg whisky from Islay Island. 
     
    Combining his talents in the arts and sciences, Dr Lumsden, who holds a PhD in biochemistry, is known for his original techniques for managing barrels, using different vintages and changing barrels to create exceptional whiskies. Dr Lumsden is regarded as an innovative pioneer in the single malt whisky industry.
     
    Dr Lumsden is the only one who has won the ISC Master of Distiller twice, in 2015 and in 2018. In addition, in 2016 and 2017, he was named Distiller of the Year in the International Whiskey Competition, and was named Distiller of the Year in the Whiskey Magazine.

    Since 2007, Fred has succeeded his father as seventh generation distiller of Jim Beam Bourbon. Eighth in line to the legendary Bourbon family, the Jim Beam family, Fred inherits the family's great taste and passion for bourbon whiskey, as well as the essence of its more than 200 years of craftsmanship.
     
    As the "Ambassador for small batches of Bourbon" of Jim Beam Distillery, Fred introduces consumers to the richer, stronger and older quality bourbon and personally selects the right new makes for the smaller batches of Bourbon such as Knob Creek, Baker's and Booker's. With a dream of "making the best Bourbon in the world," Fred continues the legacy of the Jim Beam family dating back to 1795 and continues to amaze bourbon lovers.
